Things to do

Explore the Old Town Hall; a beautiful building which is home to various examples of Medieval torture instruments - or just admire the facade from a nearby cafe on Bratislava Old Town’s main square.

If you’re an art lover you’ll find plenty of galleries and museums awaiting you in this Slovakian city. Nedbalka Gallery is home to many works by famous Slovakian masters, the Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum exhibits contemporary local art, and the Slovak National Gallery is a treasure trove of art that dates back to the Middle Ages. If you have the time, why not book tickets to an opera, ballet or theatre show at the Slovak National Theatre.

Another museum, a top choice for amateur historians, is the B-S 4 Museum (Czechoslovak Fortification Museum). This old converted military bunker houses weapons from World War I & II plus the Cold War. After your tour underground, take the 96-metre lift to the top of the UFO Tower for fantastic panoramic views. You can simply stop by the observation deck, or make a reservation at the restaurant in the sky. Finish off your trip with a tour of the Bratislavsky Mestiansky Pivovar brewery, which specialises in some great craft beers.

Types of HolidayTaxis transfer vehicles
March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
