It only takes 30 minutes to get from Copenhagen Airport to the city centre when you book one of our speedy and affordable private taxi transfers. We offer a meet & greet service where one of our friendly and professional drivers will be waiting for you in arrivals, ready to drive you straight to your hotel door without the hassle of queueing for a local taxi.

What to see and do

You can’t visit Copenhagen without seeing a castle or two, there are a lot of them! Take a tour of Kronborg Castle, Christiansborg Palace, Frederiksborg Castle, Amalienborg Palace and Rosenborg Castle - or just pick a couple! Culture lovers can enjoy the huge choice of sights and fascinating places to see, such as Denmark's National Museum the National Gallery of Denmark SMK and the Open Air Museum, Frilandsmuseet. One of the biggest and oldest open air museums in the world, here you can discover what life used to be like in Denmark.

If museums aren’t your thing then take a stroll along the old port of Nyhavn, once home to famous children’s author Hans Christian Andersen, and now a thriving hub for jazz, art and great food. Tivoli Gardens are also popular with visitors, as is the world’s oldest (wooden) amusement park just north of the city, Dyrehavsbakken. Don’t forget to stop by Langelinje Pier to see the statue of the Little Mermaid!

Where to eat

Copenhagen’s world-famous restaurant, NOMA, needs little introduction. Awarded the title of World’s Best Restaurant on four occasions and with two Michelin stars, it draws in diners from all over the world - so if you want to eat here you’ll have to book well in advance!

For something a little less exclusive, Palægade specialises in classic Danish cooking, family friendly Ranees does some delicious Thai food and Slurp Ramen Joint is a great spot for a budget-friendly meal. Or try Mirabelle, an excellent bakery that also does very affordable lunches and dinners.

When to go

The best time to visit Copenhagen is during the summer months of June, July and August, when the flowers are blossoming, the weather is warmest and there is lots to see and do.

Types of HolidayTaxis transfer vehicles
March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
