Costa de Antigua is located just outside Caleta de Fuste and is a laid-back and attractive destinations for holidaymakers looking for a relaxing break. At only a short distance from the airport, it’s great for just getting off the plane and flopping down on the beach.

The town itself offers everything you could need for a comfortable stay, with a small choice of restaurants, bars and shops on hand. If you’re visiting with the kids then there’s no need to venture any further away, you’ll find plenty of facilities on your doorstep. If you’re looking for something a little more lively, simply enjoy the illuminated walk over the headland to Caleta de Fuste, where you’ll find a larger choice of eateries, nightlife and activities.

The beaches on the Costa de Antigua are made up of beautiful white sand, with crystal clear water. It’s a haven for families with young children as well as swimmers, snorkellers and other watersports enthusiasts. You’ll find a few beach bars and cafes for afternoon refreshments as well as plenty of sun loungers to hire. During the peak summer months, there are also lots of kid-friendly activities, including bouncy castles, face painting and mini golf.

Windsurfing is a popular activity on most beaches in Fuerteventura, but at Costa Caleta you’ll find a centre that will provide you with all the kit. There are also lots of options for surfing, scuba diving and jet-skiing.

There are lots of beautiful areas for hiking, including the fantastic desert landscapes of Dunas de Corralejo National Park and the Parque Rural de Betancuria. Here you can walk among the massive boulders and ravines, and admire the views.
