Things to see and do

Colonia Sant Jordi is set on a beautiful stretch of coastline, with many different beaches to explore. The main, busiest beach is Es Trenc, which tends to have small waves, making it ideal for swimming and snorkelling. Another option is Platja d’Es Port by the marina, but if you’re looking for a quieter patch of sand then Es Carbo or Ses Roquetes might be for you.

The resort, and surrounding towns, have several lively markets selling fruit, veg and other local produce, as well as gifts and souvenirs. The local market in Colonia Sant Jordi is held every Wednesday.

Top attractions

The coast, cliffs and reefs are a key draw to many visitors looking for sun, sand and picturesque surroundings. Boat trips to the nearby Nature Reserve of Cabrera run regularly during the summer months and offers visitors the chance to see some of the island’s untouched natural beauty as well as swim or snorkel around the hidden coves.

The Serra de Tramuntana mountain range is another popular attraction for nature-lovers, offering hiking and mountain biking trails as well as stunning views of Majorca. A whole range of excursions are also available, by kayak, SUP, boat or on bike, where experienced guides can show holidaymakers more of the island.

Best restaurants

Carrer Gabriel Roca is one of the best streets in Colonia Sant Jordi for bars and restaurants. Stretching past the port, it offers seaside views and many good fish restaurants, such as the Marisol Restaurants and La Mallorquina, which serves a range of traditional Mallorcan food.

Types of HolidayTaxis transfer vehicles
March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
