Why visit Caleta de Fuste

Caleta de Fuste is a very family-friendly resort that offers every amenity and facility you could want on holiday, as well as boasting a stunning horseshoe shaped beach. A relatively young resort, with lots going on and a colourful town centre, it’s a perfect place for travelling with kids that has a lot to offer the adults too.

Things to do

The resort is best known for its golden sandy beach with clear, shallow waters that are ideal for younger children to swim in. You’ll find a range of watersports on offer, with everything from deep sea diving to boat trips and even submarine excursions. The waterfront is also home to a range of different bars and restaurants that lend the place plenty of atmosphere in the evenings.

Other beaches can be found nearby, as well as golf courses, bowling and a cinema. The resort is also near to the island’s amazing zoo and the Acua Water Park. There is a shopping centre as well as lots of boutiques to browse as you explore the town.

Popular restaurants

The resort has a wide choice of restaurants offering a range of cuisines, from traditional Spanish food to British, European, Chinese and more. One of the most popular places to eat out is Fado Rock Steakhouse, which specialises in tasty steak dishes. It can get quite busy, so it’s worth going early. For pizza, you can’t beat Pizzart Italiana which serves up handmade pizzas at great prices in a very warm and relaxed environment. Or, for something a little special, try 555 Restaurante, a must for delicious Spanish dishes.
