Things to see and do in San Miguel

Puerto San Miguel, also known as Port de Sant Miquel, is a very small resort on Ibiza’s northern coast. The main appeal is its smallish beach which, despite its size, is a great place to catch some sun and slopes gently into the waters, making it ideal for swimming and windsurfing.

A little further inland you’ll find the main town of San Miguel, with more shops and restaurants to choose from, but the coastal resort also offers some good beach bars and places to eat out. It’s an ideal place to relax, cut off from the more boisterous beach resorts by its natural surroundings, and the local forests and cliffs are a great place for hiking and wildlife-watching.

Top attractions

The nearby town of Santa Eulalia is a popular place to visit, where you’ll find a choice of boutiques, art galleries and cafes. If it’s parties or nightlife you’re after, the Ibiza Rocks Hotel in San Antonio is the place to be on a Wednesday, when it hosts some of the biggest events on the island with world-renowned musicians.

Not too far from Puerto San Miguel are the C’an Marca Caves, former smugglers caves that are now illuminated by a pretty light show. Take a guided tour and discover the stalactites and waterfalls that fill the caves.

Best restaurants

Perhaps the best fish restaurant in Ibiza, Port Balansat also offers an excellent view from its location high above the beach. Expect locally caught seafood, from paella to lobster, as well as local specialities. Another restaurant in a top location is Elements Ibiza, a Mediterranean restaurant where visitors can enjoy their meal while watching the sun set over the beach.

Types of HolidayTaxis transfer vehicles
March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
