Where is Biniancolla?
Biniancolla, is on the southeast coast of Menorca, in the Balearic Islands, 10 km south of the capital Maó (Mahon). Biniancolla, due to its location, is ideal for accessing various stunning beaches and hidden coves nearby.
Nearby beaches
Punta prima beach is only 2.2 km east (5 minutes by car) and has soft, white sand plus shops, supermarkets and restaurants just across the road. Family-friendly Playa de Binibeca Nou to the west is approximately 3 km (5-10 minutes by car) with beach bar, white sands and clear waters. A little further west, 6 km (12 minutes by car) is Es Calo Blanc, which is rockier but a stunning place to enjoy snorkelling and sunbathing.
Cala Rafalet on the east coast, 7 km from Biniancolla, is a secret cove, with slightly steep cliff path walk to access it (but it’s well worth the climb for this hidden gem). While the nearby Cala Alcaufar is a pretty inlet, great for children due to its shallow waters with restaurant and bar for refreshments. Cala Binidali, 9.3 km west (18 minutes by car) is a beautiful spot accessed by a steep descent with useful handrails.
