Why visit Cala’n Porter

Cala’n Porter holidays offer a beautiful sandy beach, lots of nature to explore and lively evenings, all within an easy distance of Menorca’s capital. It’s quite a small beach resort with lots of family-oriented activities as well as some great bars and restaurants to enjoy in the evenings.

Things to do

Enjoy snorkelling and sunbathing at Cala’n Porter beach, you can even take the mini-train to get there, or take a break from the sun in the shade of the bars and restaurants that line the promenade. There are lots of play areas dotted around the resort, as well as a go-karting track, funfair rides and some tennis courts. In the evenings on Mondays and Tuesdays a little market pops up selling locally-made clothing, shoes and gifts, staying open until around 11pm.

Bars & Restaurants

There’s plenty to do in the evenings, whether you enjoy a quiz night, karaoke, caberet and live music nights or a laid-back evening watching the sun set over cocktails. The Caves of Xorio Club is the best spot for dancing the night away and Flava Bar does some great themed nights. For an unusual evening meal, take the whole family to Castillo Sancho Panza, a mock-castle serving very reasonably-priced dishes/

When to go

The best time to go to to Cala’n Porter is during the months of July and August when the weather is hot, around 30°C, and the chance of rain is low. If you prefer things a bit cooler, however, then Menorca benefits from warm Mediterranean weather all year round.
