Where is Frank País International Airport (HOG)?
Frank País International Airport (HOG) is located in the Cuban Province of Holguín. Built-in 1962 originally for military purposes and named after the Cuban revolutionary Frank País. The airport has two terminals, one for domestic and one for international flights.

What to see and do from Frank Pais Airport?
Holguin is Cuba’s fourth largest city located in the East of the island with its narrow straight roads. In its centre is the enormous Parque Calixto Garcia which contains a statue of the 19th-century general the park is named after. There are two museums ‘Museo de Historia Provincial and the Museo de Historia Natural, both worth a visit if you have time.
La Loma de la Cruz, situated in the North of Holguin city, stands on top of a stairway built in 1950. Leave early in the morning to avoid the extreme heat and climb the 465 steps to be rewarded with panoramic views across Holguin city.
Arguably the best beach in Cuba, Guardalavaca has white sand and clear turquoise water plus a boulevard with great places to eat and drink. Make use of the many pedalos and catamarans on offer or dive in the crystal clear waters for a bit of snorkelling. Another beautiful beach is Playa Pesquero which boasts free Kayaks, canoes, pedalos for those who fancy it.
