Chania International Airport (CHQ), or ‘Daskalogiannis’, is 14 km (8.5 miles) from the town of Chania. Located on near Souda Bay, on the Akrotiri Peninsula on the north western coast of Crete, it is a growing gateway to many tourists coming to the Greek island.
