Things to do in and near the Port of Paros?

The port is situated in the island’s capital Parikia, with its labyrinth of cobbled streets and picturesque blue and white houses; a beautiful location on the western coast of the island of Paros. The waterfront is a busy promenade with tavernas and bars; there is also a good selection of restaurants and cafes to dine alfresco and watch the sunset. The windmill, in the centre of town, is an excellent meeting point and a striking landmark. As you wander the narrow alleyways, you’ll find hidden churches, neoclassical mansions and Cycladic houses. Parikia has a lively nightlife as does Naousa in the North, a thirty-minute journey away. For a more sedate and tranquil excursion, the traditional villages of Lefkes and Marpissa are pleasant places to relax and unwind.

Paros is most famous for its beaches, and with 120 km of coastline, it's hardly surprising. Nearby beaches include Livadia, Paralia Parikia and Marcello, while other stunning beaches on the island are Golden Beach Paros, Santa Maria, Kolymbithres and Punta. There are also several secluded beaches on the island which have fewer tourists and offer more privacy.

Which cruise lines stop in the Port of Paros?

The world’s largest cruise lines stop in Port of Yokohama, including Crystal Cruises, Variety Cruises, Ponant, Azamara Club Cruises, Scenic and Oceania Cruises.

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
