Arriving at Dublin Airport

Once you have passed through customs and collected your luggage from the baggage hall, you will exit the secure area into the Arrivals Hall. Here you can find the Dublin Discover Ireland Centre, providing tourist information, where you can also buy or collect a pre-purchased Dublin Pass.

If you have booked a Meet and Greet service with us, you will find your driver waiting for you in Arrivals with your name clearly written on a sign. For information about shared transport, including time and airport pick up point, please consult your booking voucher. Dublin Airport is only 10km (6 miles) north of Dublin City Centre, or as little as 30 minutes away when you book with HolidayTaxis.

How does the booking work?

  • Enter your flight details, including date and time, the number of passengers and where you would like to be dropped off.
  • Select your preferred choice of transport from our range of private taxis, luxury cars, economy transport (such as our Speedy Shuttle) or minivans.
  • Once the payment has been made, you will receive a confirmation email with a booking voucher that contains all the details of your transfer.

Just eight miles away, you will find the stunning seaside resort of Killiney. Situated a 35 minute drive from the airport, this exclusive residential area is home to the likes of Bono and The Edge from U2... but don't let that put you off! Killiney has been compared favourably to the Bay of Naples, as you will see from the corresponding place names around the area, such as Capri and Sorrento.

Visit Stone Age monument Newgrange, which predates the Egyptian pyramids, in nearby County Meath or walk the stunning Cliff Path Loop to the lighthouse in Howth Head. To discover Ireland’s beautiful green countryside, take a trip to the wild Wicklow mountains and Lough Tay, commonly known as the Guinness Lake. Whilst on the coast, make sure you head to White Rock beach. You might just catch sight of the Dublin Bay dolphins!

Great communication. Have 4 stars as I had to ring to give some further information and it took quite a long time before I was able to speak to someone. Once I got speaking to someone though, everything was smoothly dealt with.
