What is there to do in Palma de Mallorca?

Originally an Islamic fort, the palace has been a residence for Mallorcan monarchy since the 13th century.

Palma is a great city to explore on foot, especially in the old Casco Antiguo (the city’s historic centre) and along the Paseo del Borne - the biggest shopping street in the city. Known as the ‘Golden Mile’, here you’ll find all the big designer names as well as other boutique stores and luxury shops. Afterwards, take a late afternoon stroll along the Paseo Marítimo before heading to La Lonja, famous for its lively nightlife, bars and restaurants.
