Things to see and do in Kassiopi

Take your pick of the various beaches, including Blue Flag Kalamionas, the main stretch of sand in Kassiopi. Here you’ll find various amenities, from sun loungers to tavernas, or explore the hidden bays a little further along the coast.

Kassiopi is the main port for boat excursions around Corfu, and visitors can choose from a short cruise to the nearby sandy beach of Kalamaki or a trip to Corfu Town. In the town itself you’ll find plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. There are some good walks with views of Mount Pantokrator, or up to the Byzantine castle.

Thanks to the clear sea waters, and beautiful array of marine life, Corfu is an ideal place for diving and Kalamionas Beach, one of the smaller bays by Kassiopi, has a diving school. First timers can explore the house reef, while more experienced divers can try cave dives.

Corfu island is about an hour away by taxi, where visitors can explore the backstreets, do some sightseeing and enjoy lunch at one of the various cafes.

Kassiopi has some great tavernas to choose from, including Trilogia Restaurant which enjoys a stunning cliff-top setting and a top-class menu. Another local favourite is Tavernaki which is best known for its fresh seafood and delicious fish meals.
