Things to do in Son Xoriguer

Son Xoriguer is a relaxed little resort, with a handful of shops and restaurants and a beautiful Blue Flag beach. The white sands are perfect for sunbathing, while more active types can try out the watersports or go snorkelling at nearby Cala’n Bosch beach. The larger resort also offers a marina with more shops, bars and places to eat, as well as a more lively nightlife scene.

Top attractions

The former capital, Ciutadella, is a beautiful old town, ideal for a day trip. Take a stroll around its cobbled streets to see its palaces and cathedral, backed by views of the island’s mountains.

For a more children-oriented day out, take the 30 minute taxi ride to Cala’n Blanes, Menorca’s largest waterpark, where there are slides for all ages as well as a bouncy castle and restaurant.
