Why visit Cala Blanca?

A holiday to Cala Blanca offers all the highlights of a trip to Menorca, including a sandy beach, beautiful sunsets and authentic Menorcan cuisine. This little resort town has a relaxed atmosphere, with a few shops and bars scattered around. It’s also near to the medieval Ciutadella de Menorca, where there are lots of things to see and do.

When to go

The best time to go to Cala Blanca is during the summer, between July and August, when you’re guaranteed hot weather and little rainfall, with temperatures around 30°C. However, Menorca benefits from a warm Mediterranean climate all year round, making it a great destination to go in any season.

Things to do

Try paella or some traditional dishes at one of the restaurants along the waterside, or watch the sun set over cocktails on the beach. Cala Blanca beach is one of a few sandy beaches, and exploring the other sandy coves can be fun, such as Cala Santandria (where there is a watersports and scuba diving centre) and Sa Caleta. For a day trip out of the resort, nearby Ciutadella has a farmers’ market and lots of craft stalls where you can pick up some souvenirs.

Watersports

Cala Blanca beach is an excellent spot for watersports such as snorkelling and diving thanks to its calm, crystal clear waters. Scuba diving school Dive Cala Blanca offer tuition and equipment for beginners. If you prefer to keep your feet dry, Menorca en Kayak offer tours of the bay and caves by kayak, or longer excursions to the Cales Coves.

Action activities

There are lots of high-adrenaline and sporting activities to enjoy near Cala Blanca, such as paintballing near Cala'n Bosch and horse riding in Son Angel. It’s also a great area for walking or mountain biking, or quad biking for something a bit faster paced!

Types of HolidayTaxis transfer vehicles
March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
