What to do in Montreal?

Montreal, located in the French-speaking Canadian province of Quebec, is a fascinating mix of North American and European culture. You’ll find modern skyscrapers and historic 17th-century buildings, along streets which resemble those of a European city. Start your day with a walk up the leafy trails to the top of Mont-Royal, a hill overlooking the city which offers panoramic views.

The top sight to see while you’re here is the stunning Basilique Notre-Dame, famous for its beautiful and colourful interiors and its immense organ. After some sightseeing, head to the local markets at Jean-Talon or Atwater for some lunch, or stop off at any one of the city’s many acclaimed restaurants. You can’t go to Montreal without trying some of the local food, the most famous of which is poutine, which is best eaten at the restaurant La Banquise. Meat lovers should try the city’s smoked meat sandwich, a good place to try this is at Lester’s Deli.

March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
