Things to see and do in Bugibba

Bugibba is a popular holiday destination on the island of Malta; a relatively small town, it is well located in the centre of St Paul’s Bay and offers modern amenities, shops and an attractive town square, Bajja. Here you can relax in the sun at one of the various cafe terraces, before returning in the evening to check out the bars and clubs. There are also restaurants and Irish pubs, a promenade and the newly built Bugibba Waterpark.

Visitors are also treated to a 150 metre man-made Blue Flag beach, named Bugibba Perched Beach; the beach is raised out of the water so swimmers access it via wooden bridges. You can also expect to find a good choice of watersports here, so there is plenty to keep all ages entertained.

No trip to Malta would be complete without a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site and capital of the island, Valletta. Take a walking tour of the Baroque palaces, galleries, art museums, theatres and of course the Grand Harbour.

Best restaurants

Take the time to try some traditional Maltese food while you’re here; a visit to Malet Restaurant is a good place to start - This family-run eatery has a menu of excellent dishes, with plenty of locally caught, fresh seafood. Another good option is Ma Ta' Pawla, where you can enjoy hearty dishes of rabbit stew and beef, all served up in generous portions.

Types of HolidayTaxis transfer vehicles
March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
