Olbia International Airport, or Olbia-Costa Smeralda Airport, is situated close to the popular resort of Costa Smeralda and Olbia city centre, on the northeast coast of Sardinia.

Situated in beautiful Sardinia, Olbia is a port town surrounded by tranquil Italian countryside. For a relaxing and rural Sardinian break, Olbia is the perfect destination.

There are lots of things to see and do during your stay in Olbia. For wine lovers, it’s the perfect opportunity to visit a winery, such as Vigne Surrau. About 15 minutes away from Porto Cervo by taxi, visitors can enjoy a vineyard tour, followed by wine tasting accompanied by cheese and meats.

Nearby Porto Cervo is famous as a celebrity holiday destination, attracting world renowned stars with its designer boutiques and glittering yachts. If you’re looking for something geared more towards the kids, when not take the whole family to Aquadream water park.

Or, if you’re more of a nature lover, try some whale watching at the Marina dell’Orso. From here, you can catch one of the regular boat tours that offer visitors the chance to glimpse fin and sperm whales, as well as dolphins and sharks. You can also take a boat excursion out to one of the many islands dotted along the Sardinian coast.
