What to do in Al Ain?

Al Ain is an inland city in the UAE, on the border with neighbouring Oman; known as the ‘Garden City’ due to its palm groves and delightful natural springs. It’s the only area in the United Arab Emirates to be on the UNESCO’s world heritage list. The oasis city has various public spaces to enjoy, in the form of lush, green date palm plantations and extreme landscaped gardens with light displaying water fountains and playground facilities plus there is also the Mubazzarah Park (at the foot of Jebel Hafeet). The city is particularly popular with families due to the Al Ain Zoo (the largest in the UAE), the fun-filled Wadi Adventure waterpark (which includes surfing, kayaking and white water rafting) and the Hili Fun City (with over 40 rides). Notable sites to explore include the A-Jahili Fort, the Qasr al Muwaiji fort, the Hili Archaeological Park, plus there are also fascinating museums to visit such as the Al Ain Palace Museum and the Al Ain National Museum. Take a tour of Jebel Hafeet (Hafeet mountain) for incredible panoramic views over Al Ain and the surrounding desert and witness the last remaining camel market in the UAE.

Types of HolidayTaxis transfer vehicles
March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
