Things to do in Cornella de Llobregat

Cornellà de Llobregat is located on the outskirts of Barcelona city, to the southwest of the centre, offering fantastic access to all the great things to see and do. Perhaps best known for its Antoni Gaudi architecture, Barcelona is a great city to explore on foot. Take a tour of its famous Las Ramblas street, home to many shops and restaurants, wander around the Gothic Quarter (Barri Gòtic), and take in the views of the city from Park Güell.

Barcelona has the added benefit of being a coastal city, so take advantage of the sun, sand and sea with a trip to La Barceloneta beach. You can try out some of the watersports on offer, from kite-surfing to kayaking, or enjoy a meal and drinks at one of the many beachside bars (chiringuitos). If you want to try some local food, be sure to check out La Boqueria, the huge public market or try the famous El Quim de la Boquería restaurant. If you have the time, don’t miss the chance to take the cable car up to the top of Montjuïc Mountain which overlooks the city, for scenic views and the castle of Montjuïc.

Top attractions

By far the most famous attraction in Barcelona is Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia. This legendary church is one of the most famous pieces of architecture in the world, even though it is still incomplete. Take a tour of the inside of the church, climb the tower or simple admire it from the outside. Another of Gaudi’s most famous works is Park Güell, one of the most impressive public parks in the world and definately worth a visit while you’re here.

Best restaurants

Lasarte has earned 3 Michelin stars and has a creative menu of Mediterranean dishes; it’s hailed as one of the top places to eat in Spain, not just Barcelona. Seafood lovers will enjoy Can Ros, which has been open for over a century; the specialities here are local rice dishes and other traditional cuisines. For an even older menu, Dos Pebrots offers a list of recipes that would have appeared on the table during Roman times.

Types of HolidayTaxis transfer vehicles
March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
