Winter Activities

Winter activities in Meribel are far from limited to just skiing and snowboarding, should you fancy a break from the pistes there are a range of other activities to enjoy.

Husky sledding is one of the most iconic winter activities, and if you want to have a go at this incredible sport then you’re in luck. Learn to take the reins with your own team of huskies, or simply enjoy a guided husky tour from the comfort of the back seat of a sled. Alternatively, explore the snowy slopes by snowmobile, which includes options for kids from the ages of 4.

If you’re looking for something a little more adventurous, why not try ice climbing on one of the spectacular frozen waterfalls in the area - You could warm up for the day with a practice session at the resort’s indoor climbing wall. For a more relaxing day out, why not try a snowshoeing excursion or ice skating? You can then relax afterwards at the spa or the indoor swimming pool.

In the summer, there is an abundance of trails that criss cross the Vanoise National Park where you may even spot local wildlife, such as eagles and ibexes.

If you’re looking for a more challenging adventure, white water rafting is a surefire way to get your thrills, and can be enjoyed by the whole family. Other activities include mountain biking, walking via ferratas, and canyoning. If, however, you’re looking to keep your feet on solid ground, Meribel is home to an 18-hole golf course which boasts spectacular views.

Types of HolidayTaxis transfer vehicles
March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
