What to see in Cala Tarida

Offering one of the best beaches on this side of Ibiza, Cala Tarida’s main attraction is its beautiful sandy bay and clear, turquoise waters. If you’d like to venture a little further from the resort, the little village of San José is only a 10-minute drive away. Nestled in the mountains, this Spanish-speaking town is worth a visit for its views, its 15th century church and cobbled streets.

Things to do

Cala Tarida beach has lots of family-friendly facilities and beach activities including water sports and boat trips. Just behind the beach are shops, where you can buy all your beach essentials and more, and bars where you can chill out of the sun.

Cala Tarida Beach

Set on Ibiza’s south western coast, Cala Tarida is a little resort with a sheltered bay and a wonderfully wide beach of white sand. The beach is ideal for families with younger children as well as keen swimmers as the right hand side of the bay slopes gently into the water, while the left is deeper. For some peace and tranquility, seek out the hidden coves to the north of the beach where you can also swim out to the rocks.

Nightlife

There are some great bars right on the beach where you can enjoy a drink and a snack, or even a full meal. Cala Tarida’s most famous bar is the Cotton Beach Club, which is popular with jet setters and offers panoramic views and DJ playing cool Ibiza tunes.

Top Restaurants

Savannah Ibiza, in nearby San Antonio, offers a sunset terrace on the beach and delicious food as well as a resident DJ if you want to stay a little longer. Or for great value for money and a children-friendly atmosphere, try El Viejo Gallo at Port des Torrent, near San José for barbecued meat and rice dishes.

If you’re not keen on venturing far from the beach then Bar Restaurante Rincon De Tarida is ideal for some delicious paella, Torremar dishes up some fantastic views alongside some tasty seafood and Ca's Mila Restaurant is ideal for some Mediterranean fine dining.

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
