What to do in Vienna?

Vienna is the capital city of Austria, famed for its historic architecture, imperial palaces, beautiful scenery, lively nightlife plus musical and intellectual legacy shaped by former residents; Beethoven, Mozart and Sigmund Freud. There are endless things to see and do including; a ride on the Winer Riesenrad (a Ferris wheel built-in 1897), a visit to the Hofburg Palace, the Palmenhaus, the Sigmund Freud Museum and the Jewish Museum (to name a few).

The neo-gothic ‘Rathaus’ town hall, is an interesting building, which during the Christmas period has one of the many festive markets built up in front of it. There are plenty of theatres and concert halls to enjoy performances, not to mention the Burgtheater; considered one of the most important in the world. In the evenings, there are abundant beer halls, bars, cosy cafes and nightclubs to enjoy, plus a wide choice of restaurants for delicious cuisine.

Whether you stay in the city or travel further afield to destinations like Bratislava, Budapest, Vosendorf, Wiener Neustadt, Bad Heviz or Krems, you’re sure of an unforgettable time.

FAQs - Vienna airport transfers

If I’m travelling light and I won’t need to wait for luggage. Will my driver be at the airport as soon as I land?

Our drivers monitor the flight and generally arrive at the designated meeting point 30 minutes after a flight lands at Vienna airport. So once you pass the security check your driver should be at the airport waiting for you,  holding a sign with your name written on it.

How can I book a group transfer?

We can also arrange bespoke requests including group bookings, VIP services with luxury cars and chauffeurs and wheelchairs adapted vehicles. For more information contact our tailor-made team.

Types of HolidayTaxis transfer vehicles
March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
