What to do in Bermuda

Bermuda is famous for its beaches, and it’s hard to pick a favourite. Fall in love with the pristine white sands of Elbow Beach, surrounded by luxury resorts, or the stunning Horseshoe Bay, the most popular beach on the island. Or enjoy the swimmers paradise of Jobson’s Cove or the untamed beauty at Cooper's Island Nature Reserve. If you want to explore further, take the woodland trails around Tom Moore’s Jungle and Blue Hole Park, where you’ll find people cliff jumping or bathing in the natural pools.

There’s much more besides for the more adventurous travellers. You can hike the Railway Trail, discover sunken shipwrecks while diving or snorkelling, swim in underground lakes or explore the many caves. The most impressive are the Crystal and Fantasy Caves between St. David’s Island and Main Island, where you’ll find tunnels filled with huge stalactites.

Make sure to leave plenty of time to discover Bermuda’s historic towns, filled with old colonial buildings. Hamilton is home to shopping and great restaurants, as well as museums and galleries like the Bermuda National Gallery, as well as the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute. St. George’s is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, full of pastel coloured houses. Don’t miss a visit to the Royal Naval Dockyard.

March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
