What to do in Grenada?

For a small island (just smaller than the Isle of Wight) there are plenty of places to visit and things to see in Grenada. Whether it’s sightseeing in the island’s capital, exploring the mountains and rainforests or discovering the island’s history; you’ll find lots to do.

Why not take a tour of the islands’ cocoa estates and nutmeg factories?

One of the best things to do in Grenada is pay a visit to St George’s, where you can browse the market, see the pretty Carenage Harbour and stop off at the Grenada National Museum. You’ll find a choice of cafes and restaurants around town where you can enjoy some tasty local cuisine.

A must for many tourists to the island is a tour of the Grand Etang National Park and Forest Reserve. Located in the centre of the island, not too far from the Grand Anse hotels, you’ll find an information centre, complete with curious monkeys and the scenic Grand Etang Lake.

To get the best views of the lake, take the trail towards Mount Qua Qua, which offers a lookout over the lake and the sea beyond. You can then drive on to see the incredible Seven Sisters Falls and Annandale Falls. More adventurous holidaymakers can climb Mount St Catherine, the tallest mountain on the island at 840 metres, although this must be done with a guide. In need of some refreshment? Finish your day at the River Antoine Rum Distillery near Tivoli.

March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
