What to do in Marsa Alam?

Marsa Alam is an up and coming beach resort with lots to offer holidaymakers looking for sun, sand and sea. Thanks to its southerly location, the resort offers plenty of hot, sunny weather and its beaches are some of the best on Egypt’s eastern coast.

The main beach, Abu Dabbab Beach, is a stretch of white sand complete with turtles and dugongs. As you might expect, the area is hugely popular with scuba divers and snorkelers, but everything from stand up paddleboarding to kite surfing is available. More experienced divers can explore the 70 metre wall of coral at Elphinstone Reef, where you can spot giant turtles and sharks. Samadai Reef is another popular dive spot where you can swim with dolphins.

Other activities include 4x4 desert safaris, shopping in the marina at Port Ghalib, family-friendly days out to Aqua Coraya waterpark and Wadi el Gemal national park plus excursions to Luxor and El Quseir.

Types of HolidayTaxis transfer vehicles
March 31, 2023

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
