Once you arrive at the airport and have passed through passport control and customs, you can collect your luggage from the baggage claim area and continue through to the arrivals hall.

If you have booked a private transfer, you will find your driver holding a sign with your name on it. For shared transport, please check your booking voucher (sent with your confirmation email) which will have details about when and where you will be picked up from the airport.

What to do in Paphos

With its gorgeous sandy beaches and clear blue waters, Paphos is a favourite summer holiday destination with British tourists. Whether you’re staying locally or in popular resorts such as Coral Bay or Limassol, you’ll find plenty of stuff for the kids, cracking nightlife and, for the culture vultures, plenty of historic relics to explore.

Just some of the fantastic sites to be visited include St. Hilarion Castle, Kyrenia Harbour and Castle, and the Salamis Ruins in Famagusta. However, for the beach bums amongst us, hoping to simply spend some horizontal time soaking up the rays, the fabulous beaches at Kassiopi and Paphos are just the ticket!

Equally, if you like your beach-bound days to just be a warm up for dancing the night away, the famous nightlife at Ayia Napa has enough bars and clubs to take you right through to sunrise every day!

Q: Who flies to the airport?

A: There are several airlines that fly direct to Paphos from the UK, including British Airways, TUI, Ryanair, easyJet, Jet2 and Thomas Cook Airlines.

Q: How safe is Paphos airport?

A: Paphos has a small airport with some good facilities and security screening for passengers flying in and out. Approximately one million British holidaymakers visit Cyprus every year. Most visits are free from trouble but, as always, tourists are recommended to be careful when travelling. For more information, visit the Foreign Office website for travel advice.

Q: How far is Coral Bay?

A: Coral Bay is 27 km (17 miles) from the airport and a 30-minute drive by car.
