How to get from Narita Airport to Tokyo

Tokyo is renowned for being an expensive city and, as the airport is located a long way from the centre, you’ll want to avoid spending all your travel money on transport. A regular taxi, which you get from outside the hotel, is very expensive, so a pre-booked door to door Tokyo airport transfer is the better option. It also avoids the hassle of trying to navigate public transport to your hotel.

We provide a range of transfer options to suit your journey, from shuttle buses to private transfers, including taxis, minibuses and luxury cars. When you arrive at the airport, you’ll be whisked away one of our professional drivers, straight to your hotel door.

What to do in Tokyo

The dazzling modern city of Tokyo may resemble something from a sci-fi film to some visitors, however there is plenty of fascinating ancient culture to explore here as well. Start with a tour of the Imperial Palace and Gardens (booking in advance essential), the residence of Japan’s Imperial Family. Follow this up with a visit to one of the city’s many shrines or temples, such as Senso-ji temple.

You can discover more about Japanese culture and art at the fantastic Tokyo National Museum, the oldest museum in the country. It also happens to be located in a beautiful public park, Ueno Park, where visitors will find ancient shrines, ponds and thousands of blossoming cherry trees. If you’re visiting in spring, the best time to see cherry blossom, then be sure to visit the neighborhood of Nakameguro, one of the prettiest spots in the city.

If you’re keen to discover some of the local cuisine, then Tsukiji Fish Market will be right at the top of your to-do list. Arrive in the early hours of the morning if you want to see the tuna auctions before enjoying some breakfast sushi. It’s a great place to find some cheap eats in the city. In the evening, discover the narrow streets of Golden Gai, where tiny bars offer the opportunity to enjoy a Japanese beer or sake with the locals.
