Where is Baie Ste Anne Port?

Praslin is an island in the Seychelles, just to the northeast of the larger island of Mahe. The port is located in Baie Ste Anne, which is the northern half of the island. More specifically, the port is in the town of Baie Ste Anne which is on the eastern coast. It is a short trip southeast of the Cote D’Or Beach, which is a popular beach on the island for tourists to visit.

What to do on Praslin Island

Cote D’Or has an amazing beach which is also known as Anse Volbert and is the most popular beach on the island. Along this stunning beach is the Gallery Passerose’s Horizontal Palm Tree, which is a unique sight that is definitely worth a visit during your upcoming holiday. Other things to do in Cote D’Or include visiting the Anse Petite Cour Viewpoint, or taking a trip to the Praslin Museum. For thrill-seekers, there is skydiving in Cote D’Or at Fly Seychelles if you are up for this challenge.

Baie Ste Anne is very close to the Baie Ste Anne Port, making this a great place for a day trip on your holiday. The beaches in the area include Anse Marie-Louise Beach, which has a beach volleyball court available to the public. A bit further down the coast is the Anse Consolation beach and viewpoint for those looking for a beach that won’t be busy or crowded.

Grand Anse on Praslin Island is a perfect warm getaway for those who love golfing, as the Lemuria Golf Course is an 18-hole, award winning golf course with views of three of the beautiful surrounding beaches. One scenic location that is a must-visit is Pointe Millers, also known as Anse Georgette. This beach is accessible with a short walk to this hidden gem. There are also hikes available in the region such as the Mont Plaisir to Anse Georgette Nature Trail, which takes you to the beach, or up to Mount Plaisir for some stunning views of the island from a higher viewpoint. The Praslin National Park is also an option for hikers as guided walks past native coco de mer trees and the rich wildlife are available here.
