Things to do

Whether you’re staying in Rzeszow for easy access to the stunning natural landscapes, and many outdoor activities, or you’re planning on exploring the town, there are plenty of things here to see and do. Start your trip with a walk around town, starting at the Market Square, the central square of Rzeszow’s Old Town. Explore the old streets and historical landmarks, such as Lubomirski Palace, the 17th century well and the tenement houses.

Not far from the town, outdoor lovers will find the Carpathian mountain range waiting. Here, the wooded mountain hills and valleys are perfect for hiking, mountain biking and skiing in the winter. There are a whole range of pretty towns to explore, dotted around the various national parks.

Top attractions

Lubomirski Castle, which dates back to the 16th century, is currently home to the District Court, but plans are to transform it into a cultural institution in the future, so keep an eye out for upcoming events.

Other attractions in the town include the Rzeszów Cellars, part of the 369 metre long Underground Tourist Route. This route of corridors and connecting basements runs beneath the tenant houses and the Market Square. Visitors will find relics of medieval walls, handmade bricks and hidden passages.

Above ground, the main attraction is the multimedia fountain, where spectators can watch water jets dance to music, accompanied by laser and 3D presentations. Just next door, the local amphitheatre hosts a range of shows and spectacles, also backed by music and moving water.

Best restaurants

Reputed to be the “most photogenic café in Poland”, Kawa Rzeszowska serves up speciality coffees, delicious breakfasts, light lunches and cakes for afternoon tea. If you’re looking for something a little more substantial, Kuk Nuk is a popular restaurant that specialises in Polish fusion cuisine, a mix of burgers and Polish dishes. Another popular spot it Konfitura Restaurant, which offers a more sophisticated menu.

At HolidayTaxis, we recognize that every traveler is different and may have their own preferences and requirements for their airport transfers. To accommodate this, we offer a diverse range of transfer vehicles for our customers to choose from, each with its own set of benefits and advantages.

For example, if you're traveling in a large group, our minibus or shared airport shuttle transfers might be the best option for you, as they can comfortably accommodate a larger number of passengers and their luggage. On the other hand, if you're traveling with just one or two companions, a private car may be more suitable for you as they offer a more intimate and personalised experience.
