Cala Mandia (also known as Cala Mendia) is a sandy beach resort next to Cala Romantica and just 10 minutes south of Porto Cristo. A popular summer resort for British families, it offers quite a beautiful coastline with fine white sand and clear water. There is a little historical sightseeing to be done here, such as the mermaid statue in Calle des San Jorge, an ancient watch tower (or Torre des Falcons) and the ‘Mare de Deu del Carme’ church in Plaza Del Carme. You’re also close to some of the most famous attractions in Majorca: the Cuevas del Drach and the Cuevas dels Hams caves.
